In the builder category, the late Don Macdonald, longtime coach of the Vernon Boxing Club and a lifetime Greater Vernon Minor Hockey Member and Ian Gibson, boxing referee and founder of the Vernon Women’s Soccer League, were also honored. In the team category, the 1977 -84 Enderby Legionnaire Men’s Baseball Team, that won four provincial senior men’s baseball titles and two Western Canadian titles, were also honored.
Each inductee was presented with a special plaque from the Hall of Fame created by our design team at Awards and Trophies HeadQuarters. Each plaque was individually designed and prominently displays photos of the recipient during their illustrious career. The plaque also prominently displays the red “Apple” which is a symbol of the Okanagan Valley. For more information or to discuss a design, Contact Us today.
